Web Design for Non-Profits
The North Dakota Music Teachers Association (NDMTA) is a non-profit dedicated to helping further the careers and studios of music teachers in North Dakota. They organize and fund conferences, events, directories, competitions, and more. NDMTA worked with Bluestem Media to design a new website from scratch. Web content was created, edited, and curated for 29 pages in the sitemap. A fresh design was crafted using blues, whites, yellow, and a rose red color. The site was designed to be easily navigated, on both desktop devices and mobile devices.

The North Dakota Music Teachers Association contracted with Bluestem Media to build a new web site for them. The experience went very smooth. They were proactive in obtaining material from our old website and very open to suggestions and changes I offered in the building of the new website. They also were very responsive and timely in building the website. In the end we have a very functional website for the NDMTA and I highly recommend Bluestem Media. They were excellent to work with.

Dynamic home page billboard video
The website needed to communicate that membership is open to ALL music teachers, not just one or two instruments. A video billboard was created to help capture this idea, with a looping video of voice students, guitar, flute, percussion, piano, trumpet, and more.
Password-protected member directory
Members have access to the full contact information of other members. This information needed to be password protected. Bluestem built a system within WordPress to host all the information and have it filterable by chapter and instrument.
Newsletter system
The NDMTA newsletter is a core part of communicating events, awards, and updates to members. A system was designed to host the entire newsletter archive, plus display the current newsletter issue.
